Re the current national lockdown: We will be waiting until the government's mid February announcement before making a decision on whether this event is postponed or can continue as scheduled. If the event is postponed then the currently favoured contingency date is Saturday the 1st of May 2021.

Check-in! [New] : We will be asking all registered participants to check in online approximately two weeks from the event. The Check-in process will result in a simpler event experience for you by removing the usual on-the-day administration. Within the Check-in process we will ask you to: 1) Confirm your preferred postal address to enable your participant number and electronic timing tag to be posted out, 2) Watch the mandatory event safety video and 3) Give us an indication of your preferences with regards to a mass start or an individual time-trial start.
With the world famous Seven Sisters, and far reaching views out over the English Channel, these courses are already attracting international recognition. The Sussex 10K, half, marathon and ultra routes shoulder the coastal towns of Eastbourne and Seaford, which lie to the eastern section of the South Downs National Park. Where the land meets the sea, the results have produced one of the most iconic coastal landscapes of Britain - vast cliffs of brilliant white chalk.
Based from one of the few coastal access points on this coast, Birling Gap is perfectly positioned for runners to explore this dramatic cliff ridden coastline. Expect a few ups and downs as you negotiate that beautiful rolling downland!
Virtual : Don't forget to connect with us via the official Facebook Event where you can select "Going" or "Interested". Here you can network with others and join in the conversation by asking questions and advice.
In Person : Social distancing measures permitting, there will be an informal post event gathering at The Tiger Inn, East Dean. The Endurancelife Team will be there from 2000 to hear your stories from the day and to share a well deserved drink! Participants, supporters and friends are all welcome.
