Sheep's Head
This 65 KM Ultra (40 miles) trail run around the Sheep's Head Peninsula in the South of Ireland is sure to get hearts pumping!
Recognised as a European Destination of Excellence the peninsula is remote, wild and unspoilt. The route follows the varied terrain of the Wild Atlantic Way and includes a daunting 1989m (6525 ft) of elevation gain.
This Ultra Marathon represents a strenuous but fulfilling test for the ambitious trail runner - set in a beautiful, unspoilt and largely unknown location - yet with easy international links from Cork airport.
This one is not for the fainthearted!
