Snowdonia

Snowdonia is the main adventure sports destination in the British Isles with the highest concentration of opportunities for outdoor activities. No other area in the UK can offer such a diverse range of year activities.

"Hi Endurancelife team. Thanks for a superb experience, it certainly was the journey you described and much more! Everyone’s feelings seem to be the same, in that you ran a great event which had a unique atmosphere that is sadly lacking in most other events hosted by other organisers. Well Done" Mark

The Location

The Snowdonia Coast to Coast Adventure Race is a three day, multi-sport, multi terrain odyssey across the largest National Park in Wales. The journey takes teams of two or solo participants across the wild and varied landscapes of one of the most beautiful corners of the Britain Isles. The Snowdonia National Park; which has the evocative Welsh name of 'Eryri' meaning ' the place of the eagles', is an area of outstanding natural beauty covering 838 square miles and containing some of the most magnificent scenery in the country.

Starting at Conwy in the north of the National Park and finishing on the west coast near Aberdovey, the challenge includes ascents of Snowdon (The highest peak in Wales) and Cadir Idris.  There are spectacular mountain biking sections, more breath-taking trail running and two memorable kayaking stages.

The Snowdonia Coast to Coast AR is a tough challenge, to be successful participants need to be physically prepared, mentally committed and must ensure that their kit is up to it.  The terrain is unforgiving, the weather unpredictable but the feeling of completing a journey of 120 miles under your own steam, great!

In return for your efforts of traversing Snowdonia, you get the satisfaction of completing and immense course and the camaraderie generated amongst all the participants and crew throughout the event is a definite highlight.  If you are looking for a proper adventure race across some of Britain’s best loved terrain, this is the one.
